5 Months Old!

I can't believe Patrick is 5 months old already! He is growing up so fast, it's hard to remember how small he was just a few short months ago.

Patrick is developing quite the personality these days. To describe him simply, he is a very happy baby. And he loves to flirt! Our days are filled with lots of activity, laughs, lots of new sounds, eating, playing, smiling, and an occasional nap. He is so aware and curious of his world now. He loves watching his puppies and even reaches out to touch them when they walk by. Sophie will usually give Patrick a kiss, while Bailed strategically backs up so that Patrick's hand is on his butt for pets.

Last month we were lucky to visit lots of family. We went to go visit Patrick's Bachan (Grandma Nakamoto) for several days. They were absolutely adorable together and Patrick found a great napping partner in Bachan.

                             

On our way down the hill from Arnold, we traveled to the Sacramento area. We were also able to visit Uncle Sam, Louise, and Howard and Kathy for an afternoon, as well as the Ross Family and our good friends Kate and Tom. It was a busy day but it was so great to see all of our friends and family.

Patrick has his very own big boy seat at the table now. We've been giving him rice cereal for a while now and he doesn't seem to hate it :) Right now most of the food comes back out and onto his bib but that's okay, we're just practicing for the good stuff later on.

  I've caught Delmar sneaking him little tastes of stew, tomato sauce, and many other tasty things already. I think he's excited for his little boy to become a foodie like him!









I know that I'm super biased, but I think that Patrick is just the cutest baby ever :) So I'll leave you with a few of his cutest from this past month.
