6 Months!

Believe it or not, Patrick is now 6 months old! I can't believe the little man I watch sitting upright all by himself, playing with his block and eating his veggies, is the same baby that born just a moment ago. The time really does fly by.

Patrick was so interested in his 6 month sticker that I had to distract him with a block!

So much has changed in the last month. Patrick is sleeping like a big boy in his own crib and falling asleep all on his own. More importantly, his is asleep by 8pm every night so Mommy and Daddy get their nights back together! His first tooth popped through finally, and that sucker is sharp!

Here's before that first tooth popped. A little uncomfortable but his hand-eye coordination to get his toys into his mouth improved rapidly!

He is eating his solid foods now and loving it. So far squash and sweet potatoes seem to be the favorites. We won't have to worry about this kid getting enough vitamin C.

Food, food, food, and toys! Yum, yum!

Everyday Patrick surprises me with a new expression, or a new sound, a new activity, more focus and interest. It's incredible how much he changes every single day. He is such a joy and so much fun!

Finally, for those of you interested, Patrick's last appointment at UCSF went well. The bad kidney has been mostly absorbed back by his body already. His "good" kidney is about the same and the ureter to that kidney has improved. The doctor is comfortable with waiting an extra month until his next ultrasound check-up. As long as things stay the same or get better, Patrick will be in great shape.

I'll sign off with a few beautiful pictures from Auntie Frances.

We can thank Grandma Tompkins (and Grandma Nakamoto) for Patrick's beautiful blue eyes!

Until next time!

Love,
Sarah
